Today I am sharing the final moments of Lady Hugs life.
My dream since discovering on August 17, 2011 that at the age of 12 she had a fragmented large caliber bullet in her head. And no one knew until an x-ray revealed that she was indeed a Miracle Dog, once again. My goal of starting her biscuit company in the the spring of 2012 was to share her amazing life of miracles with many . . . that she would become a household name across the country while she was still here. I have been struggling for a few days now, just how to tell and when to tell my Facebook friends. I don’t know how else to tell you except to blurt it out . . . it feels like I’m screaming it out . . . along with the tears streaming down my face.
Lady Hugs, my amazing black lab mix took a turn for the worse on Sunday, July 13. Later tomorrow afternoon (July 17) we will spend our last moments together. I have a special day planned for her tomorrow including two and four legged friends. Along with preparing her a porterhouse steak, sweet potatoes and all the rest. [Read more…]
